If you have ever been afraid to put on a swimsuit - or to be seen in public in a swimsuit - this event is for YOU.
All bodies are beach bodies.
A few weeks ago I read a really heartbreaking post from an area mom who put on her swimsuit for the first time this summer and didn't recognize her body. She went so far as to suggest that maybe she should just stay home because she was afraid to make the people around her uncomfortable.
I want to flip this thinking on its head and show this beautiful soul - and ourselves and our community - that we belong and that we should be at the beach. All of our bodies are beautiful!
The Details
Friday, July 14 @ 7pm
White Breast Beach, Lake Red Rock
Wear a swimsuit - preferably black or white but all colors are welcome
We’ll gather for a group photo first and then we’ll do some smaller groups and individual photos
Ladies only, 18+ for the event
Snacks and beverages provided
No charge from In The Now Photo, but the Army Corps of Engineers may charge a day use fee
